Honduras

The Honduran American Football National Federation has existed since 2002.  The Honduras National Team, the Troyanos participated from 2003 to 2005 in the Central American Football League and won the Championship in 2004 and was runner-up in

2005.

Since the demise of that league, Honduras has played in the Nicaraguan 11-on-11 tackle football league which kicked off its third season in 2008.

In Honduras, teams play in an 8-on-8 Arena-style tackle football league, which was formed by 4 teams (Huracanes, Raptors, Cuervos, and Jaguares).   The league has already proved popular with spectators.
