International Coaches attend the AFCA Convention
In addition to the IFAF World Team coaches meeting as a group at the 89th annual AFCA Convention, coaches from around the World converged on San Antonio, Texas, to listen to renowned speakers, attend buzz sessions, browse among the hundreds of trade exhibitors and network with other American football devotees.
IFAF captured the various elements of the AFCA Convention from the international speaker sessions and opinions of the visiting coaches, to following Birmingham University head coach Wayne Hill from Great Britain and Spain national team coach Aitor Trabado as they visited 'Disneyland for football coaches'.
"I think it is important that coaches from different countries get together and this is a great venue to bounce ideas off each other and to hear what other countries are doing in football," said IFAF World Team head coach Greg Marshall.
"It is very important for IFAF to have a presence here where all the coaches from not just America come to share ideas and basically create a fraternity."
