MIKE WILCOX JOINS USA FOOTBALL’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS

USA Football, the sport's national governing body in the United States, announced today that MIKE WILCOX of Toledo, Ohio, has joined its board of directors.

Wilcox is chairman and chief executive officer of Wilcox Financial and Wilcox Sports Management, diversified financial services and consulting companies headquartered in Toledo. He is a past chairman of the Bowling Green State University board of trustees and currently serves as a trustee of the American Football Coaches Foundation, the Toledo Symphony Orchestra, the Culver Educational Foundation and the Lou Holtz/Ohio Valley Hall of Fame.

A graduate of Bowling Green State University, Wilcox played collegiate hockey and was a three-time All-American on the university's nationally ranked lacrosse team. He has been inducted into the Bowling Green Athletic Hall of Fame, the Ohio Lacrosse Hall of Fame, The Peddie School Hall of Fame, the Ithaca High School Hall of Fame and the Bowling Green Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame. In addition, Wilcox was recently selected as one of the top 100 alumni in Bowling Green's 100-year history.

USA Football has educated more than 75,000 youth football coaches through its online courses and single-day coaching clinics since 2006.

USA Football, with members in all 50 states and Washington, D.C., conducts more than 80 football events annually. The independent non-profit offers education for coaches and game officials, skill development for players, resources for youth football league commissioners, and manages America's national teams in the sport for international competition. More than 60 countries on six continents possess a national federation of sport dedicated solely to American football.
