Football fans across the globe can watch the world's best female American Football players compete for the inaugural International Federation of American Football (IFAF) Women's World Championship in Sweden through the event's official website from June 27 to July 3.
The www.2010WWC.info website homepage features links that direct visitors to the website of LGSPORTS.se, where football fans will be able to watch the all the action from the Zinkensdamms IP Stadium in Stockholm.
LGSPORTS will broadcast all games during the tournament via a PayPal pay-per-view platform and the coverage will feature an English-language commentary. Subscriptions cost €9.90 per game (approximately $12.25 per game).
In addition to the games being shown live, the website will feature repeats of the games to make it more convenient for viewers in the US and Canada at 6pm EST and 10pm EST on game days. For European viewers, the games featuring teams from Europe will be broadcast the following day at 17.00 and 21.00 hours CET.
USA, Canada, Germany, Austria, Finland and Sweden will compete for the first ever world crown with the group games being played at 1pm and 6pm local time (7am and 12pm EST) on June 27 and 29 and July 1. The final group placing will determine the line up for the July 3 Medal Games, which will kickoff at 11am, 3pm and 7pm local time (5am, 9am and 1pm EST).
