Canadian Jacob Ruby who recently played for Team World in USA Football’s ‘Team USA vs. The World’ game in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University of Richmond next season.

Ruby played offensive line for the World team led by head coach Jan Jenmert, who ultimately lost 17-0 to Team USA on January 30, 2010 at Lockhart Stadium.

A native of London, Ontario, he played high school football at the Fort Union Military Academy in Virginia where he was named to the 2009 All Prep Defensive Line and 2009 VISSA All-State Defensive Line selection and will now continue his football career at Richmond this fall.
