Brazil may not have the longest American Football history, but the South American country has already accomplished some impressive accolades among its programs.

And on Saturday, January 21, a crowd of 2,500 Brazilian American football fans witnessed history as Brazil played its first competitive friendly game against Chile storming to a 33-0 victory.

Quarterbacks Mamão (#4) and Rinaldo (#18) represented their country proudly throwing two touchdown passes and the home coaches were dunked with a Gatorade bath after the game as the winners celebrated.

The crowd was equally as excited when the kick Raiam Santos, who played college football at Penn State, kicked 10 autographed footballs into the stands for the eager fans.

The game was played in a friendly atmosphere with mutual respect between both teams.

The team was led by Storm SP Head Coach Daniel Muller, Offensive Coordinator Otavio Roichman and Defensive Coordinator Clayton Lovett.

AFAB, the national federation in Brazil, has proved to be a successful organization proven by the growth in most of the developed states of the country for Flag, tackle and women's football.
