France native, Alexandre Marquignon will take his American football talents to the United States as he announced on National Signing Day that he will be a member of the University of Sioux Falls Football team his fall.
The 6-foot, 190-pound free safety hails from Paris and begun his football career. Marquignon found his way to Souix Falls while competing at the IFAF Senior World Championship this past summer. Assistant head coach Robert Tucker, served as defensive coordinator for the French national team and that is where he discovered Marquignon.
Marquignon made the French national team as a safety and played through a broken hand amazingly recorded an interception and six tackles in the team's first game.
