Not so for the U.S. Under-19 National Team's first day of practice.
The Americans' initial preparations to face the IFAF World Team in the 2012 International Bowl on Feb. 1 in Austin, Texas, were more "lightning" than "light-hearted."
The U.S. conducted a two-hour morning practice Saturday at Austin Westlake High School followed by a two-hour afternoon session at the Kelly Reeves Sports Complex in Austin, the site of this year's global gridiron showdown.
